A new industrial building could bring additional jobs to the Enterprise Park at Piddlehinton.
A 2,800 square metre site to the west of the bowls club is being proposed for a building for Prototype Electronics Ltd.
The company, has been at the estate for around a decade, says the new building will help it increase its workforce from 60 to 70, assembling printed circuit boards.
The design is for a ‘standard’ industrial unit with brick and metal cladding and for 37 associated car parking spaces.
Comments on the application remain open until November 26th with a decision expected by a planning officer under delegated powers.
